Classical Dressage Training

Charles and Carol Popp have owned and operated Hidden Bridge Farm in Ridgefield, Connecticut for twenty-three years.  They strive to provide a first class training facility where the horses are not only well cared for but are happy and where clients enjoy a relaxed and fun environment in which to learn and enjoy their horses.

Stables are heated to 50 F in Winter and cooled by fans in Summer.  Automatic, organic insecticide spray systems are located in all barns.  All stalls have rubber mats.   Diets are tailored to each horse with four meals given per day and free choice hay at all times.

Full training, grooming board as well as basic board are possible service options available for clients.   Many students trailer in for lessons and training sessions or you make use one of our school masters.

Year round training is available in an indoor riding hall which has non-freezing rubber footing, piped in music, plenty of mirrors and an art gallery and historic equine artifacts and antique saddles for educational purposes and the enjoyment of everyone.

Horses enjoy grass turnout for as long as they are happy to stay out.  Boots, fly sheets or blankets are used for safety and comfort.
